The Commander's House is located at 1954 Quentin St., Aurora, CO 80045.

Access is provided by your employee badge. Badge readers are located at the front and rear doors. If you will not receive your employee badge before arrival, instructions will be provided in advance for obtaining a temporary access card.

The Security Badging Office is located on the first floor (one level up from the ground floor) of the Fitzsimons Building (13001 E. 17th Pl.) and is open Monday through Thursday 8AM to 4PM and Friday 8AM to 12:30PM.

Each guest room is assigned a unique key code for entry. Enter the 4-digit code and wait for the green light. Turn the lock away from the jamb to unlock the door. To lock the door again as you exit, press the Schlage button and turn the lock toward the jamb. It will spin freely once the Schlage button is no longer illuminated.

 

There are 12 parking spaces on the north side of the building that are available free of charge for guest use.

Guests will be asked to provide license plate number, make, model and color upon arrival.

Fully renovated in 2022, the Commander's House is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay.

WiFi can be accessed by your university credentials log-in via the secure option. You can also use Anschutz Guest WiFi without university credentials.

Smart TVs are equipped with DirecTV and offer access to your favorite subscription streaming services.

The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven, Keurig coffee maker, Cuisinart 3.5-Qt. Digital Programmable Slow Cooker, and Cuisinart Compact AirFryer Toaster Oven.

Additional items include: cutting knives, cutting board, wine opener, grater, measuring cups and spoons, Ziplock bags, food storage containers, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, coffee, assorted teas, creamer, sugar, basic spices.

Dishwasher detergent and trash bags are located above the sink.

 

 

For personal laundry, detergent pods are located in the cabinets above the utility sink.

Housekeeping will launder all bedding and towels.

University Police Dispatch can be reached at 303-724-4444.

Emergency procedures are located in the kitchen.

 

The security alarm in the main hallway is utilized when the Residence is not occupied. There is no need to worry about arming or disarming this alarm when staying at the Residence.

Housekeeping services are provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Place the Do Not Disturb sign on your door if you do not wish to have your room serviced.

Additional towels are located under the bathroom sinks.

If you have trash to be emptied before housekeeping is scheduled to return, a dumpster is located outside the north entrance in the parking area.

Please show respect for your fellow guests by observing quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM.

You are welcome to invite guests into the Residence. All overnight guests must be included in your reservation.

No checkout is required.

If you were given a temporary badge to access the building upon arrival, please return it to the lockbox before departing.

There is no need to run the dishwasher or launder towels or linens when you leave. We will take care of that for you.

Please make sure you take all your possessions with you. Contact the Customer Service Center at 303-724-1777 if you left something behind.

Please no smoking, illegal drugs or parties in the Residence.

No unauthorized overnight guests.

Do not open the patio doors in Rooms 1 & 2. The doors are alarmed.
