Data Analytics Collaborative

What is the Data Analytics Collaborative?

A federated approach to uniting analytics resources to create a coordinated campus wide approach to data informed decision-making.

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus relies on a dedicated group of data and analytics professionals to support the campus with various analytical solutions as well as domain subject matter expertise. The DAC was created to provide Anschutz employees with reporting, resources, and infrastructure to successfully navigate the expansive data landscape at CU Anschutz. Members of the DAC contribute their subject matter expertise and analytical tools to the campus to increase transparency and broaden data literacy.

Contributions to the DAC

The DAC is supported by a decentralized network of analytics professionals across the campus. Current departments with contributing members to the DAC include:

  • Budget, Planning & Campus Strategy
  • Human Resources
  • Office of Grants and Contracts
  • Information Technology
  • Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness
  • Office of Institutional Planning
  • Office of Digital Learning

Objectives of the DAC

The DAC will foster a sense of community, collaboration and support among the analytics resources of the Anschutz campus by hosting recurring workshops. These workshops will give members the opportunity to showcase and learn about the reporting and analytical tools that currently benefit the campus. Additionally, these meetings will provide insight into what data currently resides in Key Information as well as give an update on what new content is coming. Once scheduled, a list of dates for the recurring workshops will be found here.
