Dear faculty, staff and students,
We write to share that CU Anschutz has launched an internal search for our next Executive Vice Chancellor for Faculty and Student Affairs and Provost. This search follows the retirement announcement of Dr. Roderick Nairn, whose longstanding leadership helped shape our academic mission.
We have chosen to begin this process within our campus community because we believe strongly in the exceptional academic leadership that exists here. Internal candidates bring not only deep institutional knowledge, but also valuable insight into the evolving federal landscape that is shaping our future.
To lead this important effort, Executive Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance and Chief Financial Officer Terri Carrothers will chair the selection committee. We are committed to a thorough and well-rounded search process and look forward to identifying a leader who will advance our academic mission with vision, integrity and collaboration.
As part of the process, finalists will engage with key campus stakeholders ‒ including shared governance groups ‒ to ensure alignment with the wide range of perspectives and priorities across our institution.
You can find details about the role and the application process on our Executive Search webpage.
Sincerely,
Don Elliman
Chancellor
