Dear faculty and staff,
CU Denver and CU Anschutz both place a high value on our contribution to improving the health and well-being of people in Colorado. In keeping with this, we invite you to participate in our seventh annual CU in the Community program, which allows you to take a half-day of work time to volunteer with the organization of your choice.
This year, we are focusing our volunteer efforts on education. Both campuses will be partnering with local school districts and educational organizations in their communities. You can volunteer at an organization in which you have a personal interest or choose from our featured partners list.
The program will run through March 30. Faculty and staff can choose to participate individually or with your department. We encourage units to volunteer as a group, as it’s fun to gather with colleagues outside the normal work setting to contribute together to our community.
CU South Denver staff are welcome to participate in the program, as are students and alumni from both campuses.
Go to the CU in the Community website for more details or to sign up.
Thanks for all you do, both for our university and for our community
