
More than 500 attendees tuned in for the CU Anschutz State of Research Address on Dec. 9, 2025 — an annual event highlighting the key trends, achievements, challenges and collaborations that shaped the campus research enterprise last year. Vice Chancellor for Research Thomas Flaig, MD, shared an overview of federal-level changes and outlined how the campus is adapting to sustain momentum and support a strong, productive research environment. The address also spotlighted major research awards and notable successes from 2025.
