Release Notes

Dear University Web Community members,

We’re pleased to share the latest updates and improvements to our shared content management system, Sitefinity. These changes support our ongoing efforts to enhance site functionality, accessibility, and user experience.

Enhancements to existing functionality:

• Enhanced Navigation
  • Fixed a bug where menu navigation items would “jump” slightly when hovering between them with mouse/cursor. Visual updates include: navigation menu no longer expanding and contracting on page load, “more” button no longer showing and disappearing on page load unless needed.
• Anchor Widget
  • Resolved a bug occurring with invalid query selectors that could prevent the page's scroll-tracking navigation from working correctly.

Web Accessibility:

• Sitefinity Forms
  • Fixed an issue where the Email field on the Contact Us form (and other forms using the same field type) was not properly linked to its error message for users of screen readers and other assistive technology. The field's accessibility reference has been corrected so error messages are now properly associated with the Email field, improving usability.
