This tool and initiative supports the university's mission in:
The university is committed to IT security and compliance, and prioritizes privacy as a core tenet of all data governance practices.
As part of the university's agreement with OpenAI, your information and prompts will not be used to train the large language model (LLM). This is why it is essential to ensure that users are only utilizing the university instance of ChatGPT Edu for university work, learning and research.
All other instances of ChatGPT are NOT compliant with university standards and policies.
For an added layer of security, the university instance of ChatGPT Edu will utilize single sign on (SSO). You will easily and securely be able to access the tool using your university credentials and password after you have completed the university-required AI training.
