The Spring 2022 CU Anschutz Student Health Insurance Plan waiver/enrollment portal is not open at this time.  A new waiver is required for all student enrolled in at least one credit hour at the start of each semester.  The Spring 2022 waiver/enrollment portal was available 12/28/2021 - 02/01/2022. If you missed your opportunity to waive the Spring 2022 SHIP, but you have other coverage and wish to waive, please reach out to the SHIP Office at studentinsurance@cunaschutz.edu

Graduating this semester?

Short-term solution for SHIP-Enrollees:  Graduates who were enrolled in SHIP for the semester prior to graduation can opt in for 1-3 months of Continuation Coverage through UHCSR.  The Continuation Coverage enrollment will be available in your UHCSR MyAccount near the end of your current coverage period.  When you log in, you will go to the "My Coverage" tab at the top and you will see an option to "Enroll in Continuation."  Click that link and follow the prompts to purchase coverage.  Your enrollment request and payment must be received by UHCSR within 14 days after your current coverage expires (no later than August 14, 2022).

SHIP Alternatives for those staying in CO: For a long-term solution in Colorado, explore the Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant health insurance options available on the open market at
Connect for Health Colorado. Colorado Medicaid (Health First Colorado) might also be an option.

SHIP Alternatives for those leaving CO: For a long-term solution or if you’re moving out of state, explore the ACA compliant health insurance options available on the open market at Healthcare.gov.

Employed after graduation? If you’ll be employed after graduation, work with your employer’s human resources department to determine when your coverage starts and enroll in a plan that meets your needs.
