Mission:
To promote cultural diversity, inclusive excellence and networking thereby contributing to the University’s Strategic Priority five that states “Enhance diversity university-wide and foster a culture of inclusion.”
Goals:
- Serve as a venue to unite the international community
- Provide a platform for cultural exchange between international members and their domestic counterparts
- Build a tight-knit community that is inclusive of all members (international and domestic)
- Foster a sustainable community by providing a support system for incoming, current, and former members and a forum to share ideas, concerns and career opportunities
Membership:
International and domestic personnel affiliated to University of Colorado Denver and the Anschutz Medical Campus including undergraduate, masters, medical, health-professional, law, and graduate students; postdoctoral fellows; medical
residents; medical fellows; and staff scientists, instructors, research associates, and faculty.
Being an active member of AIR, one can gain the following skills:
