Faculty Philanthropic Cabinet

Created in September 2025, the Faculty Philanthropic Cabinet is charged with maximizing grateful patient philanthropy through strong physician partnerships with the office of advancement to cultivate a culture of philanthropy.

Chaired by Naresh Mandava, MD, interim senior associate dean for strategic advancement, and supported by the Office of Advancement, the Cabinet will be a key component of the CU Anschutz School of Medicine’s goal to be a top 10 medical school within the next decade.  Members will serve as ambassadors for philanthropy, collaborating with research and education colleagues to identify and advance high-impact philanthropic opportunities. 


Inaugural members will:

  • Prioritize collaboration with the office of advancement. 
  • Participate in philanthropic conversations.
  • Serve as ambassadors to expand a culture of philanthropy within their units, aligning philanthropic efforts with strategic goals. 
  • Focus on philanthropic opportunities with the largest potential impact.
