How do Individuals Best Recover from COVID-19?

We’re exploring a personalized physical therapy intervention using telerehabilitation versus a self-guided approach to answer this pressing question. All sessions will occur remotely. Our results will inform how individuals may optimally recover from COVID-19 and other lung conditions more broadly.

Study Eligibility and Participant Benefits:

Are you a referring provider or a potential participant? We’re actively recruiting for the study! Check below to see who qualifies:

  • 35 years of age or older
  • Recently hospitalized with COVID-19
  • Stable home internet connection
Participant will receive:
  • A Kindle Fire tablet for conducting virtual assessments
  • A Fitbit for tracking physical progress throughout the study and after!
  • Check-in calls to monitor health

RESTORE aims to help our clinical partners become leaders in quality care delivery by using personalized, progressive approaches to strength and balance training. At the core of this initiative is interactive, customizable online educational platform for training rehabilitation staff in rehabilitation strategies that achieve quicker, more effective, and longer lasting home discharges to drive higher quality care. This approach to rehabilitation is timely considering evolving changes in reimbursement for post-acute rehabilitation services, favoring more effective and efficient models of care delivery.
