About Dr. Story: 

Patrick Stoy is a leader in drug discovery with 15 years pharma R&D experience at GlaxoSmithKline and Bristol-Myers Squibb.  As a scientist, team leader, and research director he has helped discover several first-in-class clinical drug candidates in the cardiovascular, respiratory, oncology and inflammation therapeutic areas.  His expertise is in creating and optimizing small molecule drug candidates, building and leading high performing scientific teams, applying modern design methods and platforms, and early portfolio management.  Patrick is a third-generation organic chemist with a deep background in synthetic and medicinal chemistry.  His particular passion is applying High Velocity Edge principles to accelerate drug discovery and development.  Patrick is currently Principal Consultant at Leaping Cat Pharma Solutions LLC in the Denver, CO area and is a SPARK Advisor for CU Innovations / Anschutz.
