Doctoral Degree - gown, hood, tam, tassel: $62 + tax + shipping

Faculty regalia is paid for by the university.

Optional Home Shipping*: The rate for shipping regalia to your home within the 48 contiguous states is $18.10 and includes a return shipping label for the gown (and hood if applicable). Caps and tassels are yours to keep.

From November 7 at 9:59pm MST through November 21 at 9:59pm MST, only expedited shipping is available for $26.65.

2nd day air service will be used for all deliveries to HI, AK, and PR.

Note: Herff Jones uses third parties to ship graduation items. Should shipping rates increase substantially between now and graduation, this pricing is subject to change.

 

*Physical Therapy regalia does not have the option of home shipping.

Herff Jones is CU Anschutz's official regalia provider for our commencement ceremonies. All graduate regalia worn in the ceremony must be provided by Herff Jones or approved by the commencement coordinator in advance of the ordering deadline.

All graduates and faculty must register and order regalia no later than 9:59 p.m. on November 7th to avoid additional charges.

Anesthesiology, Public Health, Graduate School and Nursing Graduates:

This is a two-step process requiring registration with the university first and then placing a separate regalia order with Herff Jones. Both must be completed by the November 7th deadline.

Expedited shipping for $26.65 is required for orders placed between November 7 and 21.

A $30 late fee is applied to all walk-up rentals during on-campus distribution or at the convention center.

Home-shipped orders should be received at least three days prior to the ceremony.

 

Graduates in Anesthesiology, Nursing, Public Health and the Graduate School have the option of having regalia shipped to their homes for an additional fee. This is often beneficial if a student is hiring a photographer for professional photos and wants time before the ceremony to schedule this.

Because of how PT regalia is paid for, this option is not available for DPTs.

There is no shipping fee applied if on-site pick-up is selected. However, graduation regalia picked up at the Colorado Convention Center on the day of the ceremony must still be returned immediately following the event.

 

 

If you selected on-site regalia pick-up, cap and gown distribution will take place in Ed 2 South (outside the bookstore) on Thursday, December 12 from 11am to 6pm. Any regalia not claimed on Thursday will be available beginning at 12:30pm on Saturday in Lower Lobby A of the Colorado Convention Center.

Home-shipped regalia orders will arrive within 25 days from the date when you place your order, and at least three days prior to the ceremony.

Announcements and fine paper accessories will arrive to your home within 30 days from the date you place your order.

Diploma frames are estimated to arrive in 5-7 weeks from the date you place your order.

Class rings are estimated to arrive in 12-14 weeks, but varies based on product selection and the shipping location.

 

Undergraduate students must return only their gown. Graduate students must return their gown and hood. All students may keep their cap and tassel.

Return instructions along with a pre-paid return label will be included with home-shipped orders. Regalia can also be returned immediately following the ceremony whether it was shipped to you or not.

Regalia and accessories (i.e. stoles, souvenir tassels) are eligible for a refund as long as they are unopened and unused.Refunds should be requested no more than two weeks following the ceremony date.

Diploma frames can be refunded as long as the request is made within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. The refund will be issued once the frame is received by Herff Jones.

Sales of announcements and announcement accessories (i.e. tissue inserts) are non-refundable.

Class ring sales are non-refundable.

All shipping and handling costs are considered non-refundable.

Any product found to have a manufacturing or material defect will be refunded or replace by Herff Jones.

Due to the high volume of transactions that Herff Jones processes during graduation time, expect to receive refunds approximately 8-10 weeks after the returned item has been received by Herff Jones. 

Herff Jones now has the ability to ship outside of the US using FedEx International. International shipping is $37.35.

There are no air shipment options for international addresses. Some international shipping requests may be rejected if it is determined that there would be a high likelihood of product loss by sending out the order. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Faculty can register to participate in commencement activities and order regalia by visiting the Faculty registration site (coming in early September). The deadline for faculty to register and receive specific alma mater regalia is 9:59pm MST on November 7th.
