Faculty regalia is paid for by the university. MD regalia is covered by the School of Medicine.
Shipping: The rate for shipping regalia to your home is $15.95 and includes a return shipping label for the gown (and hood if applicable). Caps and tassels are yours to keep.
Herff Jones is CU Anschutz's official regalia provider for our in-person commencement ceremonies. All graduate regalia worn in the ceremony must be provided by Herff Jones or approved by the commencement coordinator in advance of the ordering deadline.
MD graduates have until April 11th to register and place regalia orders.
All other graduates must register and order regalia no later than 9:59 p.m. on April 18th. Remember, this is a two-step process requiring graduates to register and then place a regalia order. Both must be completed by April 18th to avoid additional fees.
Shipped orders should be received at least three days prior to the ceremony.
MD regalia will be distributed on campus the week of May 23rd.
All other regalia will be shipped directly to the graduates.
Regalia orders will arrive to your home within 25 business days from the date when you place your order, and at least two days prior to the ceremony.
MD regalia will be available the week of the ceremony in the CUSOM Student Affairs Office.
Announcements and fine paper accessories will arrive to your home within 12-14 business days from the date you place your order.
Diploma frames are estimated to arrive in four to six weeks from the date you place your order.
Class rings are estimated to arrive in 8-10 weeks, but varies based on product selection and the shipping location.
Undergraduate students must return only their gown. Graduate students must return their gown and hood. All students may keep their cap and tassel.
Return instructions along with a pre-paid return label will be included with home shipped orders. Regalia can also be returned immediately following each ceremony.
Regalia and accessories (i.e. stoles, souvenir tassels) are eligible for a refund as long as they are unopened and unused.Refunds should be requested no more than two weeks following the ceremony date.
Diploma frames can be refunded as long as the request is made within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. The refund will be issued once the frame is received by Herff Jones.
Sales of announcements and announcement accessories (i.e. tissue inserts) are non-refundable.
Class ring sales are non-refundable.
All shipping and handling costs are considered non-refundable.
Any product found to have a manufacturing or material defect will be refunded or replace by Herff Jones.

Due to the high volume of transactions that Herff Jones processes during graduation time, expect to receive refunds approximately 8-10 weeks after the returned item has been received by Herff Jones.
Unfortunately, Herff Jones does not have the ability to ship outside of the US. If you live outside of the United States, they recommend having items shipped to someone domestically who can forward them to you. Your program's Student Affairs team may be able to assist you with this as well.
