Our outreach activities include free lectures open to the public on a variety of topics in health ethics and health humanities, music concerts, a speaker’s bureau, participation in community events, several annual programs such as the Holocaust, Genocide and Contemporary Bioethics program and the Aspen Ethical Leadership program, Hard Call, a bioethics podcast, clinical ethics education and training opportunities. In addition the Art Gallery at the Fulginiti is free and open to the public (Mon- Fri 9:00-5:00pm).
The Center for Bioethics and Humanities collaborates with a variety of groups and individuals within the local community and the state of Colorado as well as nationally and internationally. This includes hospital, governmental and private sector leaders, patient advocacy groups, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, arts organizations, various community health-related groups, and the media.
