Jacqueline J. (Jackie) Glover is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Center for Bioethics and Humanities. She was Director of the Clinical Ethics at the Center for 20 years, until her retirement in 2023.. Jackie served on the ethics committees and the ethics consult services at the University of Colorado Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Colorado and the research ethics consult service. She was co-medical director of the Ethics Consult Service at UCH. She organized the Clinical Ethics Leads from the Children’s Hospital and the University of Colorado Hospital in their Quality Improvement Efforts. 

She was the Director of the Humanities, Ethics and Professionalism (HEP) thread in the School of Medicine curriculum until 2022. She was involved in clinical teaching of residents, fellows and staff and took a leadership role in reaching out to ethics committees locally and regionally.  She was named a Fellow of the Hastings Center in 2020 and received the Fifteenth Annual Faculty Professionalism Award in 2022.
