ATLAS.ti Short Courses

Researchers working at computersATLAS.ti is qualitative data analysis software designed to help manage and analyze non-numerical data such as text, video, audio, and graphics. ATLAS.ti supports a variety of analytical approaches, assisting users to systematically analyze their qualitative data. ATLAS.ti provides common analytical tools such as codes and memos along with more powerful tools to explore data, work in teams, and advance one’s analysis.

Beginner ATLAS.ti Short Course

An introductory course for users with no ATLAS.ti experience or users with limited experience who seek a foundational understanding of the software’s 1) capabilities, 2) interface, 3) features, 4) basic techniques to use the software for analyzing qualitative data.

Intermediate ATLAS.ti Short Course

Date: November 8, 2019
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: AMC Library, Teaching Lab 3

A course for users with previous ATLAS.ti experience who seek to extend their understanding of the software’s 1) capabilities, 2) features, 3) more advanced techniques for analysis, and 4) strategies for working in teams; plus, time for one-on-one consultation.

Available: November 2019
Cost: $25 per short course


These are not methods courses on qualitative data analysis. This is training on the Windows version of ATLAS.ti.

Also, please note that one must be a member or become a CCTSI member (membership is free) in order to attend any of the above short courses.
